Not Me Monday!

The holidays always bring out the best in people. Right?!? So while I know I was a perfect Christmas Angel, I'm sure some of you may have some confessions to make! So head on over to MckMama's place and get in on the fun!
Even if you were as well behaved as I was, you'll get a kick out of what some of the other ladies did, err I mean, didn't do over the Holidays!

As for me and mine, we most certainly did not do any of the following...

After working so dilegently on my goals for the New Year, and making one of them "thou shalt not overwhelm thyself" I most assuredly did not create yet another list made entirely of projects that I want to do in 2009! None of the items on that list are for NEXT CHRISTMAS! I mean come on ladies, who is already planning next years Christmas Party?!?! (I think I may need real therapy!)

In the true spirit of Christmas, I did not raise my voice even a tiny bit on Christmas Eve when Josie refused to stop whining. It was Christmas Eve. No mother gets frustrated on Christmas Eve!

Josie always comes first when I plan what I will do with my days off. So I'm sure that I didn't wake her up at 6AM, drive an hour to the fancy mall, put Little Miss Muffit in her stroller, and proceed to shop for an astonishing 6 hours, only stopping to provide "nurishment" (aka mall food) and brief leg streaches on our day off together.

After such marathon After Christmas Sale Going, I for sure would have let us call it a day. So it wasn't me who then went to the grocery store AND Ikea on the way home! (Josie really is a great sport to allow me such great days!) (OH, and we did ride the "Pink Pig" at Macy's which I'm sure made the whole day worth it to her!)

Did you hear that mom saying that really dirty, not child ride appropriate word when she banged her head on the (way too low) top of the Pink Pig Train? I am SO glad that wasn't me!

I did not tell Andrew's mom that he needed underwear for Christmas. That would be lame. (He couldn't believe that was all I could think of!)

I do not seriously hate the options I have for a free blog layout! I don't want to lose my widgets, but I hate how tacky the free ones are. I am not that concerned with my blog, I mean, it's not like I have a million hits on it! Time to get over myself!

I am so proud to be a foster parent. Seriously, it's one of the best things we've ever done. Even if they haven't called us for any placements in almost a year! HMMM, maybe it has something to do with the 20 hours of "training" we are required to do by the end of the year which we have done a total of ZERO? Oh, wait, it isn't me who hasn't done it yet. (Get off my case, I've still got 2 days!)

Errr, I'm certain that I didn't forget to charge my camera battery before Christmas thus leaving me virtually without one single picture from the weekend! Opps. Good thing we did all our big Christmas stuff early!

I like the blog layout, but I agree that sometimes the free options are so limited.

I am way super impressed that Josie takes the shopping so well. As soon as I walk in a store with T, she says "All done store."

And I'm super impressed that she knows her colors too! Everything is still green to T :)

I got my husband pajama pants. Geeze, when you need 'em, you need 'em!! Nathan wouldn't stay still for that long of a trip. He would be yelling "Mout" (come out) the whole time. You are blessed with such a calm munchkin!
