Christmas Party 2008!

This past year has been full of ups and downs for our family. And if we've learned anything in that time, it would be that we need our friends.
We've had friendships tested and tried, we've had friends move away and go through their own rough years. But on Saturday night we all came together to celebrate. Not only the Christmas season and the birth of our Savior, but to celebrate that fact that we are all still here, stronger then ever and ready for all that 2009 has to offer.
I can honestly say that at this time in our lives, we finally have the perfect group of friends. Each person brings something entirely different to our lives and we need each and every one of them. I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Saturday night then surrounded by the friends that have become family. We love all of you guys!
AND Santa Aaron showed up too! Aaron and Sheena are so awesome and brought a gift for each of the kids! Julian got a football and it was obviously a big hit! Josie is quite the ball hog!The whole night was just perfect. The guys had a blast, the girls laughed and bonded, and the kids were on their best behavior! It really was a Christmas Miracle! How gorgeous are these two?!? I'm telling you, my friends are the hottest! My My Preggo Bestie and her hubby Scott. He teaches Andrew about guy stuff! After the yummy yummy, can't believe I cooked it, lasagna dinner, we let the kids decorate sugar cookies! Yup, me, the girl who hyperventilates when something spills on the floor, decided that kids need frosting and sugar and crumbly cookies at a Christmas party! They had so much fun it was totally worth it! None of them wanted to eat the cookies though! Here's my little cookie monster!Amy's been trying to work with Luke on his camera face. Tiffany is doing their maternity pictures in a few weeks and we're pretty sure this is what they are all going to turn out like!Gorgeous Tiffany with Big E.Eeeee, I can't get over Julian's big blue eyes! And then the sugar kicked in!By the end of the night the guys were in the garage getting spanked in poker by David and the girls were talking about babies inside surrounded by tired kids.
I would say that the party was a total success.
The only problem I foresee is that if we all keep adding kids like we have over the past year, we'll need to add a room on just to hold them all!

Thanks for having us. We had a great time. The lasagna was delicious! We hope one day soon we can repay the favor and have everyone over to our house since y'alls house is always the one being destroyed. Thanks again!
