Cloud Co-op

We are wrapping up our unit on clouds this week.

It's been a lot of fun and I'm proud to say I can now identify 3 types of clouds as well as assemble multiple art projects out of cotton balls.

Yesterday we met up with Kelsey's crew and Amber and Olivia for a little amateur coop group.

Just like last month, we crammed a ton of projects, that I thought would take a few hours, into about 45 minutes.  These kids fly through projects like gangbusters.

Josie is majoring in Baby Care.

Looks like she may need to seek out some extra credit options if she's going to pass this course.

Next month we are learning about dinosaurs.

Our schedule is kind of nuts over the next couple of months so I'm not totally sure how much extra theme stuff I'll be able to fit in.  We may just eat some fossil cookies and call it a day.

For now, I'm not thinking about it.  I'm beach bound and that's really all that matters this weekend!

We made clouds. It went pretty well. We used a big ziplock bag full of ice though and many matches. It seems like we used food coloring also. I do not remember. Looks like fun! I have been wanting to make the cloud viewer! Dinosaurs are always fun :)

Hope you enjoy that!

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog I appreciate it. I'm hoping all our house renovations will make us happy for a couple more years here. We feel like we are outgrowing our space but would like to hold off moving for a few more years. So, in the meantime, there is work to be done!
