Roll Call

Happy Friday Everyone!

Got any big plans this weekend?  We sure don't.  I'm thinking we will hit up the Movie In The Park in town tonight and then just cause trouble around home the rest of the weekend.  Sunday is sure to involve a card with baby handprints on it.  It's our Mother's Day/Father's Day tradition.

I've been checking out StatCounter lately and am so intrigued by where y'all are from.

Journey To Josie is getting visits from all over the place.  It's been awhile since I've done a roll call and thought this weekend was a good time.  So drop me a comment (it will make my day) and let me know where you're from.

Comment away, meet some other bloggers, and enjoy these totally random pictures from our wild and crazy week.

We're another foster-adopt family in Sacramento, CA. Love seeing all the cute pics of the kids. My two are almost the same age and seem to be into a lot of the same things. Too bad you don't live closer- we could have a playdate! :)

Reading you in Baltimore, Maryland, and I found you in the comments at Under the Sycamore. I've done respite foster care in the past and have a soft spot in my heart for adoption.

I'm from south central Washington (think country/farm/dry--total opposite of Seattle ;)), though the stat counter frequently says I'm in a couple different towns in Oregon.. one which I've never heard of!

Hi, I'm from Texas. We were foster parents (actually at two different periods in our lives) and adopted our daughter from foster care. Josie looks a bit like my daughter who is 8. In fact, my daughter thought Josie's pics on the blog were her, from when she was little! Enjoy keeping up with your family!

First time commenting but I've been reading you for over a year - this is one of my favorite blogs to read! We are an adoptive family (just finalized in May, YAY!!) in Spartanburg, SC.

I started reading your blog just over one year ago while my husband and I were living in Atlanta. Now we're in Tampa, FL and finishing up our foster/adopt paperwork with the county! Your blog means so much to me, and it helps me refocus on the important things in life! I can't wait to meet the Josie and Gabe that God has ready for us!

Hi! :-) Now in Charlotte, NC and following for some time now! Are you in Hampton? My in-laws live in Hampton on like 10 acres... We were just down and I'll be there again the end of July when my MIL has knee replacement surgery. {I come to GA about as often as it seems you head to MN!} :-)

Hello from Saratoga, NY (Upstate at the foot of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains)! I've been reading for years (I don't think I've missed a post!), but barely ever comment. :) You are truly an inspiration to me as a Mom and with your faith. I truly appreciate your honesty with your posts. Thank you for blogging!
