Green Thumbs

Well, it's that time of year again.

The time of year that my Homeschooling Juices start flowing again and I'm ready to take off with all new lesson plans and activities.

I love the Spring!

We're starting this season off the same as last year, by planting our garden!

And to spice things up for us a bit, I'm linking up with The Homeschool Village's Garden Challenge.

We aren't planning to actually start planting until next weekend, but here's a recap of what we did last year.

We did a Unit on flowers that Josie loved.  I'm planning on doing a lot of this again but with some harder skills added in.

While Josie loved learning about seeds and flowers, she really loved getting her hands dirty and going on our daily garden checks.

Man, she's grown a lot since last year!

We planted in April and by May we had some good looking veggie plants!

And shortly after that we had the cutest little baby veggies ever!

We had a lot of fun with our garden last year and learned a lot to help us out this year.

Like we do not need a million green bean plants or tomato plants, but we could use a few more squash plants!

I can't wait to see what everyone else is doing in their gardens!

If you need some lesson inspiration head over to The Homeschool Village and get planting!

Love this! How fun! We usually do a garden...but it does not look nearly as fun as your gardening (HA).
