Josie and I spent time last week learning about different weather.
We did a lot of fun activities, but her favorite was the Doll Laundry Mat that I set up for her.
We gathered up all the doll clothes from around the house and I set her up with a bucket of soapy water, a bucket of clean water, and a string tied to the porch to line dry them on.
She had a blast!
Which reminded me that, at her age, the simpler the project the more she loves it.
I tought her how to use the clothes pins and after struggling with the first few, she got the hang of it (no pun intended!) and went to town on the rest of the clothes.
Proud of her work!
I highly recommend this easy activity!
Not only because Josie loved it, it kept her entertained for 45 minutes, or that it was great for her fine motor skills.
But because by the looks of the laundry tub, doll clothes need to be washed!

Maybe that's why old baby is always running around naked, her clothes just needed to be washed? Cute idea!
Love the new activities you & your little missy are up to. They're fabulous! And those every day life skills and fine motor from the clothespins are super...not to forget the fabulous one on one time with mom.
Great stuff!
EEEWWWW hahahahha that is funny. As the old saying goes
"don't throw the baby out with the bath water"... better make sure she is not in there too! LOL
We take the straight clothes pins (looks like a wooden peg with a notch out of the middle to put over the line; no springs)and let the boys match socks (fun design socks) and put them on a line. they LOVE it!
We did this one day in our kitchen and my girls loved it! And when I hung a real clothesline out back last week my 8 year old spent more time hanging and unhanging clothes than I did! :)
