8 and 3

I've been throughly scolded for the lack of Baby V-ness on the blog lately!  He is definately still with us and just as cute as ever.

In fact, he just marked the end of his 8 months on Tuesday.

This past month has been another fun one.  Well, as long as you take out the few sleepless nights that his pesky first tooth caused us!

He is still going to bed around 7:30 and sleeping until about 9 the next morning.  This month he quit waking up in the middle of the night so I've been quite the happy camper.

He is obviously sitting up all by himself finally.  He still won't put any weight on his feet.  Not sure what's up with that, but I'm sure the Doctor will give us some insight on what his deal is next month.

He is eating lots of baby food and just this week we started trying out peices of banana and avacado.

He is a full fledged waver now too!  Except he reserves those for his extra good mood days. 

Although, he is quite the flirt with the ladies!

Tuesday was also the 3 month mark of him being with us.

I wish I had some marvelous new details on his case to give you, but it's pretty much exactly the same as before.  Caseworkers don't have any facts straight from week to week, BM still has her minimum wage job, BF still unemployed.

There have been a couple twists.  Turns out the BF's brother moved in with them but doesn't want to do the case plan.  He has a week to either move out or agree to the background checks and random drug tests. 

His BM's stellar behavior since this all started has started to become eradic.  I'm not too excited about it, but it does follow what I've been told about Birth Families starting to back off the case plan after a couple months.

We don't have any court dates until December so between now and then we are compiling our testimony and enjoying having two pipsqueeks around.
