Did you know Sheena is a professionally trained chef who owns her own catering company?
She makes amazing food.
Last week she had a last minute event for the Vera Bradley store up at fancy Phipps Plaza and needed a couple servers so I got to do it!
Now, I love being a stay at home mom, but getting paid to go shopping and then spend a few hours inside a pink polkadot and paisley shop?!?! I could get used to that!
I only got pictures in the backroom since I was pretty sure I'd be fired immediatly if I whipped out my camera while passing Pomegrante Mocktails!
She even serves fresh milk with dessert!
I kid, I kid!
She did have to pump in the bathroom and one worker asked if she was doing "food stuff" in there.
Ms. Laurie and I were seriously sad when we didn't get to bring these Vera Bradley aprons home!
And Sheena hadn't prettied up the brownies yet.
Trust me, when she was done with them, they were magazine worthy.
Which was good since Southern Living was there doing photos!
So what did she serve?
Carmalized Onion and Cranberry Cream Cheese Bites (I'm still craving these!)
Fresh Tomato and Herb Crustinis
So Good Brownie Bites with Whipped Cream and Crushed Peppermint
Pomegrante Mocktails
Yumm!!
