We have perfected keeping our grocery bill under our $75 a week mark which I have been thrilled about.
And then Andrew told me he needs me to try to lower it a little more to accomadate our new budget! Yikes!
I'm not sure how I'm going to do that and still get the fresh produce and organic stuff, but I'm going to try.
And a certain someone was wondering how I manage to shop at Whole Foods and still come in at $75 a week so I'm going to post my receipt with the cost of everything after we shop on Friday night.
Eee, now I really have to stay under budget!
We did great sticking to our meal plans the past two weeks. I am proud to say that we did not eat out one single time! I can't remember the last time we went 2 weeks without eating out.
Andrew decided to end the eating part of his fast a little early and then we had his sister and her boyfriend over for dinner one night, so I had to improvise a little since we used more meat for those meals then I had planned on. It worked out though and I have a couple meals to spare for next week.
So here's what we're chomping on this week...
- Saturday (Everett's Party) - Crock pot Roast and Veggies
- Sunday - Cheesy Chicken Bake (new recipe)
- Monday - Darlene's!
- Tuesday - Super Chef Salad
- Wednesday - BBQ Chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans
- Thursday - Veggie corn dogs and sweet potato fries (Quit rolling your eyes Amy!)
- Friday - Chili and Grilled Cheese
- Saturday (Amy's baby shower) - Taco Salad
- Sunday - Meatloaf and Sweet Potatoes
- Monday - Darlene's
- Tuesday - Beef Stew with Biscuits
- Wednesday - Chicken Fettuccine with broccoli
- Thursday - Quesadillas
- Friday - Grocery Day
Stay tuned, I'll be posting our receipt on Saturday Morning!
