I'm a busy body.
I'm 100% guilty of getting Josie started on a project then rushing around to get as much done as I can while she is occupied.
I shrug off requests to sit with her with a "give me a minute."
But this week, when she asked me to help her paint her Basil Pot, I did.
And it was gloriously, amazingly peaceful.
Here's to slower days, letting the laundry go unfolded, and embracing the camera.

Great shot! And so true... sometimes we just need to step back, let the laundry pile up and enjoy every minute!
Such a cute mama! It's hard not to put off the little things sometimes. Good for you for taking that time with her.
