July already!?!

The renovations at The Farmhouse have us spending more time outside then ever.

While we were cleaning up the fallen trees last week, Josie started to notice a bunch of different mushrooms all over.  We hunted and uncovered quite a few varieties.

And this, this is when I feel total security in our choice to homeschool the kids.  Learning, out in the woods, hands in the dirt.  Watching them I see real learning happening and they don't even have a clue.
