We are all hoppy

Oh man that's a tacky title for an Easter post.

But we are on vacation and surrounded by family and full on sunshine, so having a level of happy that lends itself to making me a bit tacky is just part of the deal.  You'll still love me right?

This year the Easter Bunny took the form of two aunts, a set of grandparents, and a great grandma for Josie and Gabe.  They weren't deprived.

We started the day filling the pew at the Catholic Church that my Grandparents have attended for years.  It might be close to the sin of pride, but I gave myself a little pat on the back for remembering the order of service without a hitch.  Is there anything cuter then a three year old shouting out a few, "Thanks be to God"s?

I think not.

Unless that three year old is sporting a new haircut and a man tie.  Gabe, I love your little self.

Then we hunted eggs and ate chocolate in an assortment of shapes.

Josie had one request and that was to have an egg hunt.  Which is fine except we hid chocolate eggs and it was just shy of 90 degrees.  Rookie mistake.

We had an awesome Easter and I found this golden egg at the airport!

Family vacation can now begin!

Next time freeze the chocolate. It'll buy you a little bit more time in the heat. :) Of course, is there anything wrong with melty chocolate?
