We used to do it every Summer when he was a Youth Pastor.
This year, we finally set a date and did it.
And. It. Was. AWESOME!!!
Enter: The First Annual Slip & Slide Party!
50 feet of plastic, 20 bottles of baby oil, 25 bottles of baby shampoo.
A table of delicious food and 30 crazy friends.
We had SO much fun with this party.
I did basically zero planning other then sending out a mass invite and buying the supplies.
The day was perfect.
And unbelievably hilarious.
Josie tried to be brave, but just couldn't get the hang of it.
It was fun to finally do something that the guys all loved. There was a lot of testosterone going down that slide.
But the ladies put up a fair game too!
Gabe spent the day wondering what kind of family he just got stuck with.
And while I'm always proud of my Sister Wife, Amber really won a special place in my heart with her form and gusto going down the slide!
Next year: a double slide so we can have official races!

That is the coolest thing EVER!!!! Hubby and I have always wanted to have an Adult Inflatable Party with the big bounce houses and things :)

Looks like fun! I bet there were some bruises the next day from all that flinging oneself onto the hard ground though! :) The races sound like a great idea for next time.
We have done that a couple times the last few years. It is so fun! Try going down a hill next time :)
