Not A Summer Pie

In the Summer, we are supposed to share our light and healthy recipes.

Things from the garden.

Cool treats made with fruit and ice to bring down the temps.

Yummy Goodness you can eat and still fit into your swimsuits.

Well, this is the exact opposite of that!

Amy, Amber, and I have not all hung out together in eons.

It seems like one of us is always busy.

But last week, the stars aligned and the Heavens sang, and we were all in the same pool together for hours on end.

And I decided that deserved a Celebration Pie.

This pie is sinful.

It's pure fudge and you have to eat it warm with vanilla ice cream.

You will feel glutenous and rather huge after you eat one (or two) slices.

But it's worth it.

Normal people would wait until Winter to indulge, but I recommend seizing the day and making one.

After all, it's no longer everyday that your Sister Wives can come sit all day with you.

Fudge Pie

1 STICK MELTED BUTTER
2 EGGS
1 t. VANILLA
1/4 c. COCOA
1/4 c. SELF RISING FLOUR
1 c. SUGAR
1 READY TO COOK PIE CRUST (not deep dish)

Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes.  Let cool for 15 minutes.  Devour.

Mine is sometimes still very runny.  You can bake it a little longer, or do like I do and treat it like the inside of a Molten Lava Cake.

Oh it's gooooood!!
