I can't believe it's February already.
February has always been kind of a Ho-Hum month for me.
Not a whole lot going on and lots of cloudy days makes me feel lazy.
Gabriel found the toilet paper.
I suppose it's a right of passage that was bound to happen sooner or later.
We've been having lots of laughs with Papa Curts old glasses!
Ain't I perty first thing in the morning?
Ok. I won't lie. This was probably taken closer to 1 in the afternoon.
I told you, lazy days.
Amber and I took our photography class with the lovely Tate of Taken By Tate.
Can I tell you that the girl is ah-mazing?!?!
Talk about making something very complex seem like child's play!
I'm now shooting in Manual and lusting after my new lens that I had to put on hold until after Josie's party next week.
But after trying that baby out, it will be mine sooner rather then later.
I conquered two other things this week.
I took a Spin Class (biking, not twirling) and I spoke at MOPS.
The first one sucked. But in a good way.
I wanted to cry and I couldn't walk up the stairs after but I was proud that I made it through. I'm not promising I'll be back every week, but it was an awesome workout!
The second I've know I was doing for months but was still totally unprepared.
Those who know me for real know I could ramble on about adoption for hours but it's all over the place and not very condusive to public speaking.
But at the end of the day, I went with my gut and just told Josie's story and a little of Gabe's.
And brought sweet pictures from Josie's first days home.
We've had 4 couples ask to sit down with us to discuss adoption in the last month!
It's been awesome.
One of them was my BFF Amber. So if you love hearing the gory details of Foster Care Adoptions you'll want to head over to her Blog and follow along. They are right smack at the start of the process so you can go on the journey right with them!
I let Josie give me a "manicure."
She didn't do too shabby of a job and it made her little day.
And something so small making her day ended up making my day.
So I let her do her own toes.
Not as great of an idea!
I love that simple pleasures bring such big joy around here.
Can I leave you today with a silly request?
I've hit 115 Followers, which is another simple thing that makes my day.
But none of you leave comments.
Which either means most those Followers are people who used to read along, don't now, and just haven't deleted me or you're all a bunch of Laz-os who don't like to comment.
Which is A-OK with me.
But just this one time, if you're out there, could you leave some love?
I'm dying to know if I've lost you all!
I've got lots of Valentines Day Treats coming your way this week plus some pretty funky Fancy Nancy Party details so hopefully you are still hanging out!

Andrea
Sending some love from MN! I read every post, but don't usually feel my feedback is comment-worthy. Keep up the sharing!
I'm one of the laz-os! I definitely follow along and read each and every post! I get so many fun preschool activities from you! (I miss your homeschool posts!) I'm also anxiously awaiting the post that says " its official- GABE IS OURS!" :)
I think this is a given, but I'll leave one just for you!
Oh, and this coming from the lady who has yet to show some love to her bff who is a newbie :p
Still here and still reading! Love how your blog is looking right now!
I love this post. I feel like it's the real you...if that makes any sense. Love JK's pedicure!!! I'm so jealous now I didn't get one! ha! : )
I've been reading for a long time and think I've only commented once. But I really enjoy everything you post.
I started reading after we emailed awhile back about teen girls and foster care (I used to be a counselor). I don't keep up with my blog anymore but I enjoy reading yours in my google reader. Gabe is adorable and I'm praying that he stays with y'all. :-)
Josie's purple toes sure would go with a certain little dress we hear a lot about!!
Hi! I am still here. We e-mailed a little back when you were about to stop working. I enjoy hearing about foster care and we have taken 4 quick placements, which was hard on us. We are taking a break until I stop working at the end of this school year. Keep up the good blogging!
I've been reading your posts for a while now but I've always felt somehow stalker-ish reading about other peoples lives so I tend not to comment :) We are a former foster family turned adopt only home waiting for our next kiddo (or three)!
I love this post! But uh, I'm always commenting on your posts AND I'm a follower....AHEM. :)
I've never been much of a commenter - in fact, I've commented more on your blog than any other blog ever. Your blog is one of my absolute favorites :) So hopefully that flatters you a little bit even though I'm a terrible commenter. I adore every post of yours and it makes me smile to see your blog pop up in my google reader :)
I'm not sure if I have ever commented but I as a fellow Minnesota, adoption loving, Jesus lovin, homeschool loving Mom am LOVING your posts. Thanks for sharing, and hi!
Hey, I comment! lol I love the fun with glasses. I assume you took the lenses out. That is funny. My BIL gave Nate a pair of groucho glasses and they are a hoot tpo play with. I need to take a photography class! I signed up for one in April but wish it was sooner!Great job in manual!
i'm still here :) and although i don't get to read as often as i'd like, i do my best to catch up on whatever i've missed. xoxoxoxox. love you nic.
