I totally did not feed Josie grocery store samples at Whole Foods for dinner on Friday night instead of actually preparing her a meal before we left for the store. And I definatly did not send my husband back around for seconds so the lady wouldn't recognize me. That would be lazy and totally against my all nutrious meal plan.
I did not get Starbucks 3 times last week. Especially since we are on a tight budget and trying to save money.
I for sure did not nag Andrew about helping clean around the house. I am definatly NEVER a nag!
I would never have accidently erased the only Elmo show that my daughter would watch thus erasing my only chance at a child-pulling-on-the-leg-free dinner making experience. Plus, my daughter doesn't watch TV, ever. She only reads chapter books.
I did not talk Andrew into going to the pumpkin patch on an 85 degree October day to get pictures of our beautiful little pumpkin. And I know that I didn't take her even though she was obviously tired and hungry. That would not have been the right mix for a toddler photo shoot.
I would never have ignored Josie's calling out during nap time over at Amy's on Saturday. And if I had ended up going in to check on her, I definately did not find a naked bottomed baby standing in her crib. (Stripping is her new act of protest!)
I know I did not get totally jealous and a little bit concerned that Everett can already count to 10 and say his ABC's. I never forget that it is not right to compare children or that Everett is a month older then Josie. And I for sure didn't feel even a twinge of guilt for not being able to spend more time teaching Josie things like that.
And lastly, I know for a fact that I did not waste 2 hours one day last week reading what other people definatly did not do last week!

Oh - I definitely do not compare how other toddlers are doing compared to my daughter! It's so not right, especially knowing that they all develop at such different levels - LOL.
I may have to take my toddler to a pumpkin patch. I bet those would be cute photos... as long as it's not hot and he's tired, because that would be crazy.
Oh, I love the pumpkin patch..
Our starbucks closed down.. boo hiss..
I'm not wasting time right now reading "Not Me's" when I should be doing other things. Great list, I'll be back to check out the rest of your story.
I definetly did not waste time last week and this week reading tons of Not Me posts either!! I have so much more to do than that!!
The dinner at Whole Foods was too funny! Thanks for doing this.
I do the same thing with the samples, only at Costco! Your "not me"s were hilarious!
